I-PSY (I-Ψ)

Integral/Transpersonal Psychology

Do you suffer from:

  • Anxiety?
  • Depression?
  • Stress?
  • Relationship Issues?
  • Feelings of Emptiness?
  • A sense of meaninglessness or lack of direction in life?
  • A feeling of being "fragmented"?

We are not fragmented beings, we are holistic beings, and the whole is greater than the sum of its parts.

Integral/Transpersonal psychotherapy addresses the evolution and development of the totality of human consciousness by focusing on and exploring the integration of body, mind and spirit. It is designed to enhance self-awareness skills and strategies that will facilitate not only personal growth and self-improvement on an individual basis, but also in the contexts of family, community and the planet at large.

The purpose of conventional psychotherapy and psychiatry is simply to get a person who is in a serious state of mental and emotional disturbance to become functional again. It addresses the body and mind, but does not minister to the heart and soul.

The goal of integral/transpersonal psychotherapy is to help people move beyond mere functionality to a space of more expanded meaning, direction and fulfillment. Not to go through each day colorlessly, just "turning the crank," but to live with enthusiasm, creativity ... and joy.

Its emphasis is on those states and processes in which people experience a more expanded sense of who they are, a sense of greater connectedness with others, nature, and the spiritual dimension. It facilitates the development of consciousness so that one may discover one's own "path with heart" and actualize the principle of "Right action in daily living." Transcending the level of the personality, the persona or "mask" (the ordinary mental-egoic attitudes and behaviors) that we present to the world, we move beyond these limitations to higher modes of consciousness, to discover who and what we truly are.

Now using Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT)

EFT is now an integral element of my practice of psychotherapy and personal performance coaching. EFT is an extremely simple, elegant and powerful procedure that yields rapid relief from all types of negative psychological and emotionally-based physical conditions, including, but not limited to, anxiety disorders, phobias and depression.
