The Integral Zen Order (IZO) is an informal, unincorporated association of men and women with open minds and compassionate hearts who dedicate themselves to their own realization and the bodhisattva ideal of helping all sentient beings to realization also. Membership is open to all, regardless of religious or spiritual orientation and practice. All that is requested is a desire to relieve suffering by using your own unique blend of "Skillful Means" to help heal, integrate and liberate body, mind, emotions and spirit.
There are no application forms, no membership requirements or dues, no official membership records, no by-laws, no administration or hierarchy. We’re all in this together as brothers and sisters. It is just as it is: like-minded people whose bond with each other is at the level of the heart and soul, who are devoted to following their own “path with heart” and sharing their love and compassion freely with all their fellow sentient beings and the entire universe. If this resonates with you, then you are already a member. If you would like to let me know who you are, that’s great, just send me an e-mail, and if you want, a picture too, and I will add you to the list of members, and won’t add you if you don’t like. If you don’t want to let me know who you are, that’s fine too. We’ll know each other when we meet, and smile.
